It's no secret that the most successful people in life are the ones who have worked hard to get where they are. They persevered when they hit stumbling blocks and were discouraged. They dream big, plan, take action, and work hard.
Today's reflection: God tells us how to be successful in life—simply work hard. This does not mean we work ourselves to death, constantly worry or live in a state of stress. It means that we work honestly, work to our full potential by giving 100%, and joyfully work hard for the Lord in full appreciation of all we've been blessed with. When we do these things, the reward is financial blessing that allows us to put food on the table, clothes on our back, and extra to share with others and enjoy the little things in life.
Today's prayer: Father, thank you for reminding me that working hard at a job you've given me helps provide for my basic, daily needs. i pray that i will never be lazy and take for granted all the things you've blessed me with. i pray that you will continue to teach me what it means to have a strong work ethic, and what it means to work hard without living a life full of unnecessary stress. i desire to work hard for my personal satisfaction and for your glory. In Jesus name!
