Today's reflection: God gives us the Bible and His voice to guide us in the right direction, saving us from destructive paths. When we listen to to the voice of God and heed His instruction, there is much joy to be found because God has our best interest in mind and He will never lead us astray.
We have a choice to either listen to divine guidance or choose our own path, but we must be able to accept the consequences if we choose to ignore the One who knows the outcome of every situation before we even get in it. Running wild is running opposite of God's will—and this path does not produce fruit or a heart full of joy. It may seem good for a short while, but will always end in heartache. And when this happens, thank God for His grace because He's always right there to help us get back on track.
Today's prayer: Lord, i've experienced the results of both following your divine guidance and running wild. i've run wild enough in my lifetime to know that my plans always disappoint, but your path always leads to good, even if there are struggles along the way. When i don't listen to you God, please pursue me and make it known to my heart the things that are right to do.i desire to know the true joy that comes from obeying your truth and guidance.
