Proverbs 30:5 says,
"Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him."
As we find ourselves at the close of our Proverbs study, I pray that you have seen how we have read, studied, and pondered over each chapter finding verses that were meaningful to us. After much prayer and cooperation with the Holy Spirit, we brought forth messages to encourage ourselves and our readers to be in the Word.
God's Word is perfect for every occasion and each season. It never goes out of style and has been tested to be absolute, unchanged TRUTH.
Dear friends, God is your shield: trust Him and take refuge in Him. He is all that you will ever need.
Today's reflection and prayer: God, You are our shield. We believe every bit of your Word is absolutely true and full of hope. Please continue to speak to us through your word and the Holy Spirit throughout the rest of the year. Every day we will choose to place our trust in you, Heavenly Father. We take refuge in You from the situations in our lives that trouble us. We also choose to praise You and rejoice in you for the circumstances when we feel victorious and happy. In Jesus name!
