Whew! i am tired. The completely DIY wedding is so rewarding, but it's exhausting being the coordinator, florist, decorator, caterer, etc, LOL! i can't even begin to share how grateful i am to my family and friends who made this beautiful day so special. i couldn't have put this together without everyone's talents and help.
One of the best parts of the day was getting to spend it with all the people who have stood by my side the last several years. Through the heartache and pain, disappointments and sorrows, perseverance and faithfulness, they have all lifted me up in prayer, encouraged me, and supported me. This weekend, my family and dearest friends witnessed how God can take a broken heart and combine it with a heart full of unwavering faith to create a new, whole, and sweet beginning that, i believe, can only be possible with God's sovereignty and perfect plan for a woman whose heart completely trusts Him.
i'm still cleaning up after a week of guests and putting away boxes of decorations and preparing for my Maid of Honor's upcoming wedding, so i'm going to keep this post short today.
i just have to share that God is so good and faithful. The way He provides the desires of a faithful heart is such a beautiful thing that i pray i will never ever take for granted. God's timing is so perfect and without flaw. It is my prayer that you know, and be encouraged, by this—God doesn't ever forget your desires, you just have to trust all of them with Him so that He can provide them at the perfect time. My story is an example of His goodness, His grace, and His blessings.
Dear Lord, all i have in my heart is pure gratitude. You are amazing.
